Inspired by the classic Candy Land game, kids will journey through a colorful kingdom filled with fun, games, music, and Bible adventures as they discover how to put on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10) Get ready for 3 days packed with laughter, exciting challenges, unforgettable characters, and powerful lessons from God’s Word. The sweetest adventure of the summer is waiting in Candy Kingdom!
Creative Days are opportunities for your child(ren) to express their creativity by dressing up or making projects at home for the occasion. Each night is a different theme; prizes will be awarded.
Each night the children will focus on one main memory verse. With the option of one extra credit verse.
MAIN VERSE: Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
EXTRA CREDIT VERSE: Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
We encourage you to help your child(ren) memorize both verses!
Snacks will be given to the children as they leave each night. Please inform our registration team during CHECK–IN, each evening, if your child(ren) has any food allergies that pertain to that night’s snack and they will be given an alternate snack.
We ask that an adult check your child(ren) in at the REGISTRATION tables each night.
The children are dismissed at 8:00pm. Our goal is to maintain a safe and secure environment for our children. Therefore, we ask that you please report to the central entrance of the Elementary Room when you arrive to pick up your child(ren). You will be asked to give the name of your child(ren) and VBA volunteer will make an announcement for your child(ren) to come and meet you at the back of the room by the double doors. Please exit through the side door and a staff member will direct you to where your child(ren) will receive a special snack for that night as you leave.
