EXPERIENCE JOY IN A MINUTE

What should I expect at Joy?

Watch our Joy in a minute video to learn more about how Joy may not be “church as usual.”

We’re excited to have you visit us!

LET US HOST YOU

Let us know you are coming, we'll show you around!

What happens during a service?

1. We start the service by singing to help people begin to engage in worship and focus their attention towards God.

3. We then hear practical teaching of God’s truth. We believe people are looking for real answers for real life. One day you may feel you’re doing okay and the next you may feel like you’ve messed up again. Hearing the refreshing truth of the gospel repeated and proclaimed over and over gives us a steady diet of hope.

2. At some point, we’ll take care of “family business.” This is usually an announcement or highlight reel of some of the exciting things happening in and around our church.

At our services, you’ll see a mix of people wearing very different clothing ranging from suits and dresses to jeans, hooded sweatshirts, shorts, and flip flops. Please feel free to wear any publicly appropriate clothing that will make you feel comfortable.

We offer classes and services for every member of the family birth–99. Sunday mornings include programing outside the main sanctuary for children ages birth–6th grade.

Students grades 6–12 have classes on Wednesdays evenings at 6:30pm.

Edit Content

Absolutely! However, we do encourage parents and guardians to allow their children to participate in the classes available to them. These are specifically designed to help children learn Biblical truths at their cognitive level. If you prefer to bring your child into the main service, please know that we do have a room available just outside the sanctuary should your child get restless. A Connections Team Member can help you if you need assistance.

Edit Content

We offer wheelchair accessibility in most of our facility. Almost all activities on Sundays are wheelchair accessible since they happen on the main floor.

Joy welcomes the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Community. An ASL interpreter is provided weekly at our 10:00am service. We also offer assistive listening devices and earplugs for all services.

• If you are not feeling well, please stay home and be well.

• Joy Kids, we ask that you keep your child at home, if they have a fever 100 degrees and up, runny nose, or other signs of sickness. Thank you!
