What are some of your hobbies?
I collect things . . . not like a hoarder. I have an extensive collection of Ferrari memorabilia. I have had a passion for Ferrari stuff since I was a kid. I still have my first ever Ferrari Hot Wheels and hope that someday I’ll have a real one of my own.

Who or what inspires you?
Kevin Plank. Kevin is the founder of Under Armour. His story about creating this company from the basement of his grandmother’s home is simply incredible. It’s living proof that this world still has room for creative, entrepreneurial people to make a difference in a market that has been dominated by others for decades.

What is your favorite food?
Anything my wife makes. When it comes to eternity, I’d like to eat her food forever. The problem is I don’t think she will want to cook in eternity. I wouldn’t either.

Besides God and the Bible, what is something you couldn’t live without?

Tell us something about you we probably don’t know?
I went on a 10 day road trip with 3 other friends and the most “dangerous” thing we did was park in a vacant lot and slept on the beach in Arch Cape, Oregon. This was my first time seeing the ocean as well!

What is your favorite bible verse and why?
Philippians 4:6 which says, “Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.” This verse was given to me by Rachel right before I took my drivers test (I passed) and ever since then it’s been a go to verse for an immediate sense of peace.

How long have you been a part of JOY?
Haha! Maybe a better question would be when haven’t I been a part of JOY? No, I grew up at JOY and I’m so thankful I did! Almost 20 years and I’m still here!
